How did you hear about Über Moms? I was here from the beginning 😉
What’s your favorite thing about being an Über Mom? The support you get from like-minded mothers.
What is something that people don’t know about you, but you’d like them to know? I had a travel bug in me from a young age. I spent three weeks living with a French family through a school exchange program. I was in 5thgrade and 11 years old. So even it was not planned that I move to live in Europe, I am not surprised it happened.
What do you do when you want to jumpstart a health kick? Cut out all sugar for a week or two to rest my sugar cravings
What is your food cuddle? Anything that I have baked myself
If there were a reality TV show about your life, what would it be called? Welcome to the Crazy Train
When shit hits the fan, what do you do? Go for a long run
What’s your exercise vice? Never finding time for yoga
What is an ideal Saturday with the family? We use Saturdays to get stuff done and hopefully watch FC Bayern Munich without too much complaining from the kids.
As a mom, do you ever lose your shit, I mean literally, how do you stay organized? I have everything in my Google calendar; if it isn’t in there, I will forget it, and I can also see what my husband has planned there so we can stay coordinated.
How do you hope to see the role of motherhood change in the future? I hope we continue to push down gender stereotypes of what a man and a woman do in and around house.
How many languages do you speak? Two, German and English
If not here, where would you be? I would probably be a professor in the USA somewhere
What would be the chapters of your book of life? Study hard, play hard, Life behind the lab bench, Journey to being an Ironman, From Dr. Casper to Mom, How to find yourself after kids
What will your mom legacy be? I hope that I give my kids the freedom to be who they want to be.
Name five things you can always find in your pantry? Flour, sugar, vanilla, chickpeas and chocolate chips
Take out or cook in? Cook in.
