Letter from the Editor

By Jordan Sapir

For thousands of years, women all over the world have vowed to make changes on January 1st. To lose weight. To take more time for themselves. To change eating habits. How many women succeed at setting goals in the New Year, turn a new leaf?

Defining and keeping New Year’s resolutions as a woman is difficult. As a mother, as with all things motherhood related, they become increasingly difficult. How can we as mothers succeed at goal setting?

Join us this month as Über Mom Katie Rössler, a family counselor, tells us what to do when we fall off the wagon. Life Coach Julie Leonard and Amie Mignatti give us tips on improving our goal setting for 2018. Lisa Davidson is nostalgic as she embraces holiday traditions in a faraway land.

Asja Baško, explains the science of finding the right natural deodorant. Monika Bock, a holistic nutritionist, helps us stay balanced with nutrition whilst celebrating the holidays and Mallika Bhatia, teaches us the ins and outs of finding your way in motherhood.

Whatever you have in mind for this year, we’ve enjoyed 2017 with our Über Mom family.

Wherever you are celebrating near and far we wish you a New Year filled with health, happiness and love. 2018 is your year!

Love Über Moms
